Registration takes one working day if the key decisions are made in advance. Here is the order we follow when registering companies for clients.
1. Choose the legal form
Most entrepreneurs open an LLC (MChJ). If you work alone with a small turnover, a sole proprietorship may be easier. The form affects liability, taxes and bank requirements.
2. Select activity codes
Define your main and additional business activities and check whether any of them require a license or permit. It is best to include all relevant activities from the start to avoid having to update your registration later.
3. Choose a Registered Address
A registered address with a lease agreement registered in the E-IJARA system is required to register the company. If you do not have your own office, you can use a rented registered address.
4. Prepare the Documents
- PINFLs and passports of the founders and director
- Articles of Association and Founders’ Agreement (if there is more than one founder)
- Resolution to establish the company and appoint the director
- Documents for the registered address
5. Registration, Company Seal, E-Signature and Bank Account
After registration, the company seal and e-signature keys are obtained, followed by opening a bank account. The time required to open a bank account depends on the bank.
